We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2023, at the age of 92, Peter D. Kovata of Monroe, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimeter Kovata and Haria Padori Kovata; his siblings, Tase Kovata and Elena Kovata; and his son James "Jimmy" Kovata.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Naumova Kovata; and his daughter Jenny Armstrong (Peter). He is also survived by nieces and numerous friends.

Memorials may be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
