He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron McCarty and Catherine McCarty; his brother Bobby McCarty; and his nephew Josh McCarty. He is survived by: his children, James McCarty (Chrissy), Mistie Williamson (Chris), Kaila Goyne (Adam), Nathan McCarty (Andrew) and Victoria McCarty (Hunter Gregory); and his siblings, Wayne McCarty (Cheryl) and Linda Spillers (Keith). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home (911 Warren Dr, West Monroe, LA 71291).
