She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Knight; her husband Fred L. Hancock Jr.; her children, Fred L. Hancock, III, Mauri Anne Hancock and Kenneth James Hancock; her granddaughter Jess Anna Hancock; and her parent J. C. Knight.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Anne Marie Hancock (Isaac) and Elizabeth Hancock; her great grandchild Penelope Douget; her daughter-in-law Jan Hancock; her brothers, Jim Knight (Nancy), Joe Knight (Renae) and Ron Knight; and her sister-in-law Marie Adele Bond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mauri Anne Hancock Nursing Scholarship Fund at University of Louisiana at Monroe, LA.
