It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Higginbotham of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Epp Norsworthy and Elizabeth Norsworthy; her granddaughter Kelsey Higginbotham; and her sisters, Ida Parker and Edith Dunn.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Olgesby and Michael Higginbotham (Nancy); her grandsons, Michael Oglesby (Jennifer) and Christopher Higginbotham; and her siblings, Ruby Nell Ojeda (Joe), Bonnie Chronister (Jim) and Lou Norsworthy (Dianne). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
