She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Odell Maxwell and Irene Battenfield Maxwell; her husband Willie Vaden Carr; her daughter Jeannette Moye; and her siblings, James Charles Maxwell and Barbara Jean Maxwell Dispenza.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Moye (Johnnie), Randy Moye (Terrie), Richard Moye, Patrick Carr and Evette Whorton (Don); and her siblings, Delmer Maxwell, Otis Dale Maxwell (Donna), Elton Maxwell Sr. (NaVonda), Bobby Lane Maxwell (JoAnn), Patricia Ann Myers (Bobby), Cathy Irene Greer (Pee Wee) and Brenda Gail Williams.
