He was predeceased by: his former wife Wallene Delowes Higginbotham; his wife Patsy Ann Meeks Higginbotham; his son Terry Orlando Higginbotham; and his siblings, Sallie Fletcher, James "Ben" Higginbotham and Harry V. Higginbotham.
He is survived by: his son Forrest Eugene "Lee" Higginbotham (Toni); his stepchildren, Randy O'Neal (Lisa) and Kaye Lee (Philip); his grandchildren, Terry Lee Higginbotham, Catrina "Tina" Williams, Joseph "Joey" Higginbotham, Kristen Brush, Celeste St Cyr, Cindy Lynn Carnes, Justin Higginbotham, Corey Lee, Chad Lee, Chris O'Neal and Katie Morace; his sister Vivian Christine Crain; and his half-brother John "Hickory Nut" "Sonny Boy" Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
