It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Mae McMorris of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Lake City, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James W. McMorris; and her son-in-law Henry Alan Pier. She is survived by: her children, Debbie McMorris Pier, Gary McMorris (Pat) and Mike McMorris (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Mandy Harris, Shane Russell, Jeremy McMorris, Heath Pier and Devin Pier; and her sister Vae Williams (Jackie). She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
Due to Covid the family has requested a private funeral service for Mrs. Lena Mae McMorris, 95, of Monroe, LA, to be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. William Smith officiating.
Memorials may be made to Lakeshore Baptist Church.
