He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Ellerman and Ernestine Ellerman; his siblings, Jodie Ellerman, Ronnie Ellerman, Jan Eugene Ellerman, Wydell Meredith, Joanne French and Betty Ellerman; his wife Claudine Ellerman; his son Jay Ellerman (Patty) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Jayden Ellerman, Anna Beth Ellerman and Tanner Ellerman; his son Jeff Ellerman (Sherri) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Madison Fontana (Nick), Patrick Ellerman and Carter Ellerman; his son Jerry Ellerman (Danielle) of Cumming; his grandchildren, Caiden Ellerman and Bailee Ellerman; his sisters, Sue Cupit of West Monroe, Brenda Kemp (Don) of Winnsboro, Emma Boozman (John) of Birmingham, Rhonda Guidroz (Richard) of Natchitoches and Mary Weeks of Birmingham; and his siblings-in-law, Luther French and Walterine Ellerman.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Monroe Baptist Church (210 Finks Hideaway Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens (8729 Cypress St, West Monroe, LA 71291).
