He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard "Bull" and O. D. Ricks Norrell; and his siblings, Patricia Keller, Irene Stephens, Raymond Norrell, Jimmy Norrell and James William Norrell.
He is survived by: his foster child Sammy Lyons; his siblings, Fred Norrell of Farmeville, Louisiana, Nellie Vines of Parkdale, Carla Robbins of Crossett and Kathy Terrell of Fountain Hill; and his sister-in-law Kathy Barker Norrell of Hamburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
