He is survived by: his daughters, Helen Simpson (Joseph Simpson), Mary Buffington and Leigh Buffington; his grandchildren, John William Simpson, Ian Lamar Simpson, Ansley Simpson Holton (Barry Holton), Mary Helen Kennedy and Sadie Buffington Prince; and his sisters-in-law, Antoinette Barksdale Terry and Mary Helen Bradford (Ron Bradford). He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and cherished friends.
