He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Carroll Keene and Barbara Ann Keene; and his siblings, Karen Susie Keene and Scott Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Keene; his children, Mallory Stone (Evan), Jordan Keene and Natalie Keene; his sister Karol Ann Mullins; and his nephews, David Wright (Laura Taylor Wright) and Daniel Wright.

Memorials may be made to the Children's Ministry at North Monroe Baptist Church.
