He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sims and Thelma Mae Sims; and his cousin Judy Jones. He is survived by: his aunt Patsy Angenell O'Neal; his cousins, Catherine Parham Tolson (Steve) and Patrick Aubrey Parham; his extended family Harris Buddy Jones; and his close friend Andy Sloat.
