He is survived by: his wife Jane Potts Brown of Monroe, LA; his children, Andrew Brown (Kathy) of Farmerville, LA and Emily Brown Folk (James Sevier Folk, III); his grandchildren, Kaylen, Sydney, Andrew Michael Brown, James Sevier Folk, IV (Sev) and Gus Ira Folk; his sister Debbie Ryder (Robert); his mother-in-law Nadine Potts; his siblings-in-law, Diane Potts Bee (Mike Bee) and Dan Potts; his aunt Betty J. Adcox of Mendenhall, MS; and his son Lucas Lamar of Troy, MO.. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to ULM School of Construction-Potts Fund or Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church.
