It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Martinez Powell of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Troy Powell; her siblings, Scott Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Ann Banares and Lucille Dubiel; and her parents, Joseph Martinez and Mary Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Martinez (Cheryl), Lisa Harris (Jay) and Kathy Powell (Joe); her grandson Samuel Harris; and her sister Mona Reed. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sam Harris Missions.
