June Golson Eby Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Golson Eby (Monroe, Louisiana), who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neita Webb Golson and Dr. John Wesley Golson; her husband John Christian Eby; her sister Jane Golson Cutler (Billy); her nephew Ralph Wesley Cutler; and her children-in-law, Thomas Harry McGehee and Sandra Mitchell Eby.

She is survived by: her children, Lynda Eby McGehee of Winter Park, John Christian Eby, Jr. of Monroe and Leah Eby Stewart (Glenn) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Lionel Eby Smith-McGehee (Tom) of Orlando, Elizabeth Mills McGehee (Donald Straka) of Dodgeville, Amy McGehee FitzGerald (Todd) of West Hartford, Wesley Eby Johnson (Bruce) of Monroe, June Crosley McGehee of Lancaster, John Christian Eby III (George) of Monroe, Shelley Stewart Crowder (Ben) of Wylie and Grover Webb Stewart of Monroe; her great grandchildren, Grace Coyne Harper (Falcon) of Oakland, Hannah Rose Coyne of Barneveld, Emma Jane Johnson LeMeunier (Jacob) of Lafayette, Kate Crosley Smith-McGehee of Orlando, Helen McLain Johnson of Monroe, Stella Eby FitzGerald of West Hartford, Keith Christian Johnson of Monroe, Florine Kendrick FitzGerald of West Hartford and Ava Jane Crowder of Wylie, Texas; her great great grandchild Beau Francis LeMeunier of Lafayette; her nephew John Golson Cutler (Judy) of Monroe; her great-niece Ashley Layne Cutler (Todd Escalona) of Lafayette; and also Sandra.
