She was predeceased by: her husband John Rowan Smith III; her parents, Lola Shumaker Pearson Reith and Wesley J. Pearson; her stepfather Joseph F. Reith; her sisters, Betty Pearson Swink and Ruth Marie Pearson Brown; and her niece Dana Swink Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, John R. Smith IV (Kathy) of Bossier City, LA, Bernard J. Smith (Katie) of Monroe, LA and Brad J. Smith (Laurie) of Sterlington, LA; her grandchildren, Timothy John Smith (Ashley), Chase Smith (Erin Mabry), Madison Smith, Chandler Smith, Bradley Ann Smith, Cooper Smith and Conner Smith; and her great grandchildren, Addison Smith and Mabry Smith.
