With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John MacDonald Giffen (Monroe, Louisiana), who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Giffen and Don Giffen; and his grandson Miller LaCour Wade. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Giffen and Julie Giffen Wade (Burton Wade III); his grandchildren, Landry Wilder Wade and Olivia Marie Wade; the mother of his children Toni Burroughs Giffen; his sister Amanda Giffen Fritzer; his nephew William Jeffrey Fritzer; his pet Otis; and his friends, Dr. Mike Sampognaro and Dr. Greg Sampognaro.
Memorials may be made in John's memory to the Jean and Don Giffen Memorial Scholarship Fund at The University of Louisiana at Monroe.
