We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2021, at the age of 81, John Carlos Brown of Monroe, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brown and Idella Brown; his brother Frank; and his sister-in-law Ann Brown. He is survived by: his wife Melba Nelms; his daughters, Lori B. Crotwell (Jim) and Meredyth Brown (Tony Urso); his grandchildren, Riley Strickland, John Wesley Strickland, Reagan Crotwell and Allison Crotwell (Cody Haynes); his great grandchild Emma Mae Strickland; his siblings, Geraldine B. Owens, Connie B. Clayton (Billy), Wayne Brown (Nancy) and James Doyle Brown (Millie); and his sister-in-law Doris N. Farr.
