He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Caskey and Lamar Caskey; his brother William Caskey; and his in-laws, Opal and Albert Roberson.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Caskey; his children, Amanda Hauskild (Greg) and Van Wiley Caskey; his grandchildren, Haley Manning (Tyler), Heather Crain and William (Will); his great grandchildren, Zoey Crain and Scarlett Crain; his brother L. G. Caskey, Jr.; his sister-in-law Gloria Caskey; his nephews, Gary Caskey and Brian Caskey (Lori); his great-nephew Seth Caskey (Blake); his great-niece Lauren Bokesah (Adam); and also, Linden Bokesah and Parker Caskey.
