She was predeceased by: her father Dr. Frank P. Rizzo, Sr.; her husband Carl Denman Smith; her mother Gussie Rizzo; and her brother Dr. Frank Rizzo, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Gussie Zagone Rizzo of Monroe; her sister Mary Agnes "Maggie" Sewell (Ralph); her children, Vicki Smith, Kevin Smith, Karen Bergh and David Smith; her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Moore, Lauree White, Lisa Campbell, Chris Rizzo, Alfy Gallagher and Patrick Gallagher; her great-nephews, Paul, Matthew, Patrick Gallagher and Stoddard Schlueter; her great-niece Sarah Gallagher Deel; and her grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Christina Smith, Michael Smith, Justin Bergh and Katherine Bergh. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
