He was predeceased by: his wife Johnnie Faye Murray; his parents, Isaac Murray and Nettie Murray; and his siblings, Junior, Charles, Jewel, Shelby, Jimmy Lee and Doris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jerri Lowery (Carl) and Misty Murray Garland (Michael); his grandchildren, Emily Carter (Zack Langheld), Peyton Lowery and Trey Garland; his great grandchildren, Daniel Langheld and Mason Langheld; and his brothers, Bobby Murray and Earl Murray (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Holley Funeral Home (603 Francis St, Rayville, LA 71269). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
