He was predeceased by: his wife Dr. Carolyn Lindsay; his parents, Willie Lindsay and Pearl Thompson; his stepmother Lyda Lindsay; his brother Howard Lindsay; and his daughter Ann Lindsay Avery.
He is survived by: his child Christian; his girlfriend Lanelle Crooks; his sons, Chris Lindsay of Baton Rouge, Craig Lindsay (Candice) of Baton Rouge and Lee Lindsay (Lauren) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Steve Lindsay (Carolyn) of Mobile, AL, Stanley Thompson (Christine) of Sardis, SC, Earleen Thompson of West Monroe and Georgia Miller of Calhoun; and his grandchildren, Luke, Cameron, Miriam, Levi, Micah, Cole, Melody, Maggie Lindsay, Grace Lindsay and Carolyn Avery. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
