He is survived by: his wife Sue Lynn Nixon Sandifer; his children, Julia Lynn Sandifer Kicey (Russell) and Michael Edward Sandifer (Katherine); his grandchildren, McKenna Sinclair Kicey (Hage Work), Michael Dixon Sandifer, Nicholas Daniel Kicey and William Frère Sandifer; and his sister Pamela Rose Sandifer Brunet. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
