James Phillips Pettit Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Phillips Pettit of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Pettit and Ruby Pettit; his son Randy Pettit; his grandson William Christopher Pettit; and his brother-in-law Jack Cannon.

He is survived by: his son Scott Pettit (Linda); his grandchildren, Amanda Currier and Rikki LeMere; his great grandchildren, Eric Currier, Evan Currier, Brianna Currier and Emily LeMere; his sister Betty Jane Cannon; his sister-in-law Gay Richie; his daughter-in-law Peggy Pettit; his nieces, Pam Chenevert and Susan Richie; and his nephew Tod Richie. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
