He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Netherland and Etta Netherland; his daughter Darla Netherland; his brother Othel; his sister-in-law Mary Lee Netherland; his sister Yvonne Smith; his son-in-law Jim Cook; his nephews, Kenneth Netherland, Ronnie Netherland, Jeff Netherland and Steve Smith; and his daughter-in-law Louise Netherland.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Moos Netherland; his children, Belinda Beckley, Dewayne Netherland, Carey Netherland (Loretta), Dewana Richardson (Gary), Yvonne Cook, Kevin Roberts and Jamie Robinson (Steve); his niece Maryann Netherland Cox; and his nephew Billy Ray Netherland. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
