It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Butler of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Allison Katherine Butler; and his parents, Edward Butler and Frances Butler. He is survived by: his wife Lu Ann Butler; his sister Renee Lemsky (Mark); his sister-in-law Denise Hamilton; his children, Robert Butler (Shannon), Frances Anne Manning (Dennis), Gloria McRae-Spencer (Duncan), Travis Fowler (Holli) and Tyler Fowler (Amanda); his grandchildren, Connor Hutchins (Diana), Chase Hutchins, Jameson Jones, Hannah McRae-Spencer, Jemma Jones, Amelia McRae-Spencer, Saylor Schrock and Tyler Henley Fowler; and his great grandchild Bella (Guice).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loch Arbor Baptist Church (3960 LA-139, Monroe, LA 71203). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
