It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James David Wheeler Sr. of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wheeler and Jeannie Armstrong Wheeler; and his son James David Wheeler, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Anice Hayes Wheeler; his son Justin Wheeler (Leigh); his daughter-in-law Kera Womack Wheeler; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Greene (Austin), Caden Wheeler (Alyssa), Cayle Wheeler, Caroline Wheeler, Luke Wheeler, Samuel Wheeler and Caige Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Emberleigh Greene, Cambree Greene and Natalee Wheeler; and his siblings, Robert Wheeler (Sandy), Emily McGough (Dwight) and Pat Glass. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many special friends, and fur-baby.
