She was predeceased by: her mother Ann Russell Szkatulski; her husband Wade Thompson; her son Ernest Thompson; her father Jack Morris Russell; and her stepfather Benjamin Szkatulski.
She is survived by: her friends, Carolyn, Bobbie, Robbie, Stella and Pokeno; her daughters, Kathy George (Marty), Charmie McGuffee (Todd) and Alicia Minter (Joel); her grandchildren, Erin Easterling, Daniel George, Matthew George, Andrew McGuffee, Sam McGuffee, Hannah Zaunbrecher, Jewell McGuffee, Ben Minter, Rachel Willis and Sarah Ashley; her siblings, Suzanne Aucoin and Richard Szkatulski (Lou); her cousin Don Russell (Lennie); her siblings-in-law, Belva Ryan, Carolyn Melder and Frank Singletary; and her grandsons-in-law, Craig Easterling, Cody Zaunbrecher, Colby Ashley and Chris Willis. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
