He was predeceased by: his wife Jean McQuiston; his son Paul Arthur McQuiston; and his parents, Louis McQuiston and Nellie McQuiston. He is survived by: his children, Gradon Michael McQuiston and Ellen Pitt (Randy); his grandchildren, Kirk McQuiston, Erin McQuiston (Matt Schroyer), Megan Wills (Randy), Grace Traweek (Zack) and Madeline Pitt (Jack Cockrum); and his siblings, Richard McQuiston (Kathy), Fred McQuiston (Carole) and Van McQuiston (Judy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made to New Light Baptist Church or to Lea Joyner Memorial Methodist Church.
