He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sumlin and Inez Sumlin; and his sister Sally Sumlin Calvert. He is survived by: his wife Darla; his son Kevin Sumlin (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sean and Claire; his sister Carol Sue Sumlin Bowles; his nephews, Brian Turner (Joann) and Stephen Turner (Tommy); and his niece Katherine Turner (Gail).
