He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Brown; his grandson David Allen Crawford; his parent Pearl Brown of Crowville, LA.; and his brothers, Curtis Brown, Wayne Brown and John Allen Brown.
He is survived by: his brothers, William Sikes and Andy Myrick; his children, Jeanne Brown, Pamela Brown Crawford, George Mitchell Brown (Elaine), Allen Walter Brown (Lindy), Delores Brown Rieger (Terry) and Lynn Brown; his siblings, Nell Brown Harrington, Linda Brown Antley and Rickey Lane Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Maxine Summers (Alan) and Dorothy Bridges Brown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
