He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hancock Sr. and Anne Tufts Fihiol Hancock; and his children, Fred L. Hancock, III, Mauri Anne Hancock and Kenneth James Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Knight Hancock; his granddaughters, Anne Marie Hancock and Elizabeth Kate Hancock; his great grandchild Penelope Douget; his daughter-in-law Jan Hancock; and his sister Marie Adele Bond.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mauri Anne Hancock Memorial Nursing Scholarship at ULM.
