She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Ozelle Scott and Lee Leaphatte Thompson; and her brother Wesley Murrell Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Edna Renea Joiner (Wayne), Charles Vernon Rogers (Judy), Ryan Lee Rogers (Mary) and Robert Mark Rogers (Kailey); and her grandchildren, Kelli, Blake, Ben, Laura, Maureen, Matthew, DeNaya, Andrew, Willow Rogers, Andrea, Adrianne, Audra and Adam Joiner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church, Pilots for Patients, or Samaritan's Purse.
