She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Medlin; her son Thomas Freddie Yates, Jr.; and her parents, Earl Patrick and Stella Patrick. She is survived by: her daughter Kayla Joy Yates; her daughter-in-law Alice Yates; her grandchildren, Andrew Bamburg, Jr., Summer Yates Jones, Dawn Yates Whitstine (Josh), Brandon Bamburg and Erin Yates Dove (Brandon); and her siblings, Claudie Patrick, Vickie Thomas and Ronnie Patrick. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
