He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Franklin and Lorene Franklin; and his siblings, Linda Green and Elvis L. Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Franklin; his daughters, Holley Wilson (Harrell) of Rison, AR and Staci Chambley (Brian) of Baton Rouge, LA.; his grandchildren, Hagan Wilson (Chloe), Davis Wilson, Graham Chambley, Thomas Wilson and Caroline Chambley; and his great grandchild Selah Wilson.

The family requests that memorials or donations be made to Ouachita Christian School, 7065 US-165, Monroe, LA 71203.
