It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Alvin Wallace of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvin, Cora Mae Wallace, Bill and Nova Matthews. He is survived by: his parents, Donnie Wallace and Sandy Wallace; and his brother Donnie Jr.. He is also survived by niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter in West Monroe, LA.
