She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Aulds Armstrong; and her brother Tony Armstrong. She is survived by: her father Travis Armstrong; her siblings, Rosalind Stringer of Brandon, MS and Freddy Armstrong (Dee) of Rocky Branch; her husband Gary Schimmel; her children, April Griffin, Jessie Minor and Toni Schimmel of West Monroe; her grandchildren, Collin Minor, Luke Daniel, Delilah Minor and Dee; and her caregiver Cosmetologist.
