He was predeceased by: his son Dennis Clay McCarty; his parents, Charles McCarty and Dorothy Smith McCarty; and his brother Terry Lamar McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Pam Tripp McCarty; his sons, Danny Lane McCarty (Angela Lynn Bailey) and Larry Darryl McCarty; his granddaughters, Eliana Repentance McCarty, Evangeline Elise McCarty, Keller Jane McCarty and Hattie Katherine McCarty; and his brother Mickey McCarty (Carol Chiniche McCarty). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
