He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Rita Comeaux Harrell; his parents, Horace Harrell and Freddie Harrell; his grandson Logan Johnson; and his siblings, Melvin Harrell, George Harrell, Leo Harrell, Aline Bennett, Jaqueline Grammer, June Hudson, Mary Jean Santsche, Kenneth Harrell and Hubert Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Worley (Biff), Bonnie Ochs (Paul), Gerry Johnson (Michael) and Betsy Esswein (Mike); his grandchildren, Ashleigh Worley, Christopher Esswein (Jaime), Adam Alexander (Chessi), Julie Miles (Michael), Stephanie Alexander Sanders (James), Raleigh Worley, Michaela Tidwell (C. J.), Layton Johnson, Paul Ochs III (Charlotte), Kristin Eppinette, Lucas Johnson and Hannah Ochs; his great grandchildren, Azlyn Alexander, Elsie Alexander, Shelby Nuber Peraita (Jay), Gabe Gittinger, Rodney Dolliole, Rocko Dolliole, Rory Dolliole, Isabela Escalante, Phillip Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Miller Miles, Georgia Miles and William Miles; his great great grandchild Atlas Peraita; and his brother-in-law Malvin Comeaux. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the North Monroe Baptist Church (210 Finks Hideaway Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
Memorials may be made to Gideons International, North Monroe Baptist Church, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
