It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Webster Platt Jr. of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jedediah "Jed" Platt; his father Charles Webster Platt, Sr.; and his sister Stephanie Davis. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Heifner Platt; his mother Mary "Jenny" Platt of Virginia; his children, Emily McGlaughn (Justin), Blake Dalrymple (Mary Martha) and Sara Dalrymple; his grandson Levi Platt McGlaughn; his siblings, Rory Platt and Cindy Schaitel (Phillip); his child Tracie Platt; his nephew Adam Smith; his nieces, Hannah Schaitel and Amanda Stansell; and his parents-in-law, Lynwood, Mary Heifner, Michael, Jennifer Heston, Bill and Angie Prestridge. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
