He is survived by: his wife Melanie Norman; his daughters, Lindsey Long (BJ) and Amanda Murphy (Travis); his grandchildren, Jack, Caroline, Sara Long, Andrew Jenkins and Madison Murphy; and his siblings, Charlene Brakefield, Lisa Elam (James), Ernie Norman (Paula) and Donald Ray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
