With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Evans Herring Jr. of Monroe, Louisiana, born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Evans Herring Sr. and Billie Lovelady Herring; his siblings, Judy Lowery Marquez and Bill Henry Herring; his sister-in-law Elaine Herring; and his nephew Lowery Rinicker.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline Nelson Herring of Monroe; his children, Hyland Charles Herring of Little Rock, AR, Amanda Herring McDuff (David) of New Roads, LA and Megan Herring Brandin (Whitney) of Monroe, LA; his sister Connie L. Rinicker; his sister-in-law Terri Herring; and his grandchildren, Livia McKnight, Max Herring, Mary, Sadie, Madeline McDuff and Jack Brandin. He is also survived by numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Snyder Museum in Bastrop, LA or the charity of your choice.
