He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; his half-brother Tim Masur; and his parents, Sylvian Masur and Ethel Weldman. He is survived by: his children, Mike Masur and Penny Masur; his grandchildren, Jacob Levy (Alexandra) and Gail Levy; his great grandchild Carter Levy; his sister Sylvia Masur Thompson; and his half-siblings, Dr. Sam Pasternack, Sharon Farrar and Linda Bryan (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
