It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline (Carolyn) Hale Wright of Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Hale and Rosa Edna Vancheane Hale; her brothers, Elmer "Gena" Hale, Howard Hale and Harold Hale; and her grandson David Carroll Sherman.
She is survived by: her daughter Eva Sherman; her grandchildren, Jonathan Sherman (Ashley), Joshua Waits, Joseph Waits and Danielle Crain (Kody); her great grandchildren, Caroline, Jackson, Joseph Waits Jr. and Alayan Grace Eldridge; and her siblings, Wiley "Level" Hale (Phyllis) and Rose M. Hale.
