We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2021, at the age of 78, Billy James Burns of Monroe, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Burns and Dorothy Burns; his son Scott Burns; his grandson Gregory Johnston; and his great grandchild Abel Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon McGraw Burns; his children, Dewana L. Evans (Allan), Candance A. Johnston, Samantha D. Burns, James A. Burns (Tayler), Gracie D. Burns, Elizabeth Burns and Andrew Burns; and his sister Cheryl Farrell (Sam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to North Monroe Baptist Church Building Fund, or the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home.
