She was predeceased by: her husband William Otis "Chick" Downing, Jr.; her parents, Walter Endom and Aline Endom; her son William Ronald "Ron" Downing (Janet Whitney Downing); her son-in-law Dr. George Thomas "Tommy" Bowling; and her sister Arlease Lee (Jack).
She is survived by: her friend W. O. Downing (Chick); her daughter Beverly Downing Bowling; her grandchildren, Clinton Whitney Downing, Sarah Downing Watley (Ricky), Trey Bowling (Crystal), Brad Bowling (Tori) and Kristina Bowling Peters (Jared); her great grandchildren, Paul Downing (Christina), Garrett Watley, Cole Bowling, Matthew Peters, Ella Bowling, Thomas Bowling, Maddie Bowling and Lucy Peters; and her great great grandchild Jaxon Downing.
