She was predeceased by: her father Jim; her husband Donald Dewitt Godby; her sons, Dennis Maxell Godby and Donald Dewitt Godby Jr.; and her siblings, Coella Moore, JoAnn Davis, Mary Virginia Shoenemann, Helen Rommel, Mabel Kate Daker, Della Baker, Joe Graham, Bill Graham and James Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Janette McCoy (William), Connie Lynn Highfill and James Ray Godby. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Brandon Memorial Gardens (328 Whitfield Rd, Brandon, MS 39042). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
