As Bennie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bennie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bennie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Clyde Plumley and Claudia Mae Plumley; and his siblings, Hollis Plumley, Travis Plumley and Dorothy Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Plumley; his children, Gerald Houston (Tammy), Patricia Houston and Susan Raney (Sammy); and his brothers, Clyde Plumley (Diane) of Minco, OK and Howard Plumley (Tammy). He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Loch Arbor Baptist Church (3960 LA-139, Monroe, LA 71203).
