He is survived by: his sons, Jefferey Stephen Carter (Vonda) and Jonathan Scott Carter; his grandchildren, Leighton Carter, Anna Grace Carter and Skyler Carter; and his brothers, Raymond Carter and Prentice Carter (Joyce).
