He is survived by: his sons, Joseph "Joey" Mathew Rushing (Ronda), Geffery Mitchell Rushing and James Michael Rushing; his stepchildren, Laurie Woodruff Mullins and Stephen Woodruff; his grandchildren, Dekota Danielle Rushing and Holden Rushing; his great grandchildren, Adeline and Luke; and his siblings, Robert "Bubba" Joseph Rushing (MaryNell), Danny Ray Rushing (Donna), Louis Rushing (Carol), Myrtis Parker, Elizabeth "Litt" Jones (James "Sambo") and Gertrude Cheatwood (Mark). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
